On July 22, 2014 the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) sustained Integrita Systems, LLC’s opposition to block the registration of U.S. trademark INTEGRITA 360 QUALITY VALUE TRUST, Ser. No. 85742123 (TTAB Cancellation No. 91215806).

The case was commenced by The Trademark Company on the grounds that, if registered, the applied-for trademark would create a likelihood of confusion with Integrita Systems, LLC’s applied-for trademark INTEGRITA SYSTEMS. After the institution of the matter the applicant for the opposed trademark failed to file an answer in response to the allegations.  Thereafter, the applicant was held in default with a decision being rendered in favor of Integrita Systems, LLC sustaining the opposition to the registration of the trademark.
