Recently, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) accepted The Trademark Company’s argument in support of registration of AM Pure Skin Inc.’s trademark application for AM PURE SKIN (U.S. Ser. No. 86022296) approving the trademark for registration on the Principal Register for the USPTO.

By way of history, The Trademark Company applied to register the trademark for AM Pure Skin Inc. on July 29, 2013 for use in connection with a line of cosmetic products.  On November 21, 2013 the USPTO refused registration of AM Pure Skin Inc.’s application under Section 2(d) of the Trademark Act on the grounds that, if registered, it would create a likelihood of confusion with a prior registered trademark.

Following the refusal, The Trademark Company presented its argument in support of registration under its Substantive Office Action Response Package.  As stated above, recently the USPTO accepted The Trademark Company’s argument in support of registration of of the AM PURE SKIN application.  The trademark is now pending registration before the USPTO.
